The gendarmerie raided the houses of those students who on January 19 had exposed an agent affiliated to JITEM and had handed him over to the gendarmerie after a record had been kept. Altogether 16 students were arrested in the raids. 5 out of the 16 students were then imprisoned for the reasons of "keeping an JITEM agent" and "being a member of an illegal organisation".
