15 out of 57 socialists, who were arrested at the police raids on the offices of socialist organisations and on their houses simultaneously in 6 cities on March 10, have been sent to prison, while the others have been set free. 5 out of 28 revolutionaries arrested in Istanbul had been set free on the first day. On March 13, the others were carried to the court. The court decided on the imprisonment of Hasan Ozan and Tarik Tepeli and set 21 socialists free.{divide} In Ankara, 5 out of 9 arrested socialists have been sent to prison, among them Alihan Alhan, the representative of the ESP in Ankara. Alhan had been put in prison also before due to his socialist ideals and had been set free from the prison only 4 months ago. 8 out of the socialists who were arrested in Adana and Antakya have been imprisoned. Among them are also Hulya Gercek, the representative of the ESP in Adana, and Muhsin Cobanoglu, the candidate of the united platform in Antakya for the local elections on March 29.
