Our party's militant Tuncay Yildirim, who had been released when he was participating in the death fast in prison in 2000-2002 and who continued with the death fast also outside the prison until he fell on Newroz 2002, was commemorated at the 7th year of him becoming a martyr at his grave. The commemoration was organised on March 23 by the ESP at the cemetery of Tongurlu village in the province of Bayramic, Canakkale, the life of comrade Tuncay Yilirim was told. In the speeches made it was said that Yildirim continuing with the death fast when being released and becoming a martyr had an important impact on the social opposition. The mass that was constantly harassed by the gendarmerie laid down carnations at the grave and then visited the family of Yildirim.
