The Kurdish people realised mass actions in Amed. They have waited for several days in front of Amed ouncil to demand the release of the arrested. DTP co-president Emine Ayna said in a statement made in front of the council that the arrest attacks were carried out to "silence the voice of the social opposition, to hinder the Kurdish people to use their rights and tell their demands, and to block the democratic political channels of the Kurdish people and the social opposition."
