The state terror on the DTP that managed to exceed its posts in Kurdistan the local elections on March 29 and made the AKP lose has continued. The number of those arrested on April 14 and in the following days has risen to 245.{divide} Among the arrested are general chairmens' assistants, city leaders, Ocalan's lawyer and mayor candidates. The case was announced as to be special so that the file is not accessible and no information if given to the lawyers or the families of the arrested. While the Turkish state is continuing with the operations in Kurdistan on the one hand, it also continues with the attacks, arrests and detentions of DTP members on the other hand. By that, the AKP government is answering the PKK 's interruption of actions with its policy of denial and annihilation.
This arrest terror that aims at the election victory of the Kurdish people has been protested throughout Kurdistan and Turkey. Many actions took place in different cities, first of all in Amed.
