Revolutionary Headquarters' member Orhan Yilmazkaya who had been killed in a clash with the police on April 27 at Bostanci, Istanbul was commemorated by revolutionary and socialist organisations and platforms in a common march on May 3 at the quarter Gazi . {divide}The mass, among them DTP , SDP , ESP , Partizan, Kurtulus, Halk Cephesi and many other organisations, gathered in front of the Former Police Station and marched together to the Cemevi. The mass of 500 people saluted the six hours lasting resistance of Yilmazkaya and carried a poster in the very front with Yilmazkaya's words saying "We might fell but this struggle will definitely continue after our death." During the march different slogans were shouted together such as "A thousand greetings to the one felling and fighting at Bostanci". "The revolutionary martyrs are immortal" and "Long live the revolution and socialism", and on another banner it said "Orhan Yilmazkaya is immortal". At the action the mass listened to the last words Yilmazkaya was saying when he joined the police' wireless network and applauded. In a common statement made in the name of the mass, the following was said: "We are here to salute the Bolshevik stance of Orhan Yilmazkaya, the common martyr of the revolutionary movement of Turkey and the Kurdish liberation movement, who had refused to bow". In the statement it was also mentioned that the police put pressure on the family of Yilmazkaya who then buried Yilmazkaya without telling anyone. After the action, Marxist Leninist Communist Party militia organised a march at Gazi. At the action the militia shouted the slogans "The MLCP will demand an account from the murderers" and "Long live the Communist Youth Organisation, the star of our party". At the action joined by more than 100 MLCP activists, a banner was opened read "Orhan Yilmazkaya is immortal".
