The raids on democratic and progressive organisations and arrests by the Turkish state have been continued. In Ankara the police raided the offices and houses of the lawyers and IHD leaders Filiz Kalayci, Hasan Anlar, Halil Ibrahim Vargun and Murat Vargun and arrested the four lawyers. The raids and arrests that had been realised because of an investigation of 2007 and the claim that the lawyers "supported and worked in complicity with the PKK " were declared to be against the international law. The IHD made an international call for urgent actions concerning the raids. The members of the IHD and the Association of Progressive Lawyers protested the arrest of the lawyers with an action in front of Ankara Court. The action was supported by the members of ESP , DTP , EMEP , TIHV, Peace Parliament, Initiative for the 78'ies, THYD-DER, MAZLUM-DER and KESK .
