On 16th June, Ali Bugun, member of our party MLCP, was commemorated at the 5th anniversary of death at his grave in Rotterdam, Netherlands by communists laying down red carnations at his grave. At the commemoration, it was said that comrade Ali Bugun had dedicated 33 years out of his 48 years life time to the revolutionary struggle and had to stay in prison in solitary confinement for long years. Comrade Ali Bugun didn't give up and let his will be broken when being tortured. He was kept in prison in Syria for 7 years and tried to be forced disappeared. Comrade Ali Bugun went to the Netherlands for medical treatment as he had cancer, and he became a martyr on 13th June 2004.
