4,000 people participating in the festival in Leverkusen, Germany, organised for the 15th year of foundation of the Marxist Leninist Communist Party became a single fist and a single voice. {divide}
Right before the festival, a discussion panel titled "From Tradition to the Future" was organised with Haluk Gerger and Huseyin Yeter holding speeches. Although being invited BEKSAV chairman Haci Orman couldn't join the discussion panel as he had to face detention terror. Haluk Gerger talked about the economic crisis and the Kurdish Initiative. After him, Huseyin Yeter talked about the party's history and declared that our party MLCP has prepared and thus entered a new period with its 4th Congress. He also stressed that the solidarity with the Kurdish liberation movement that is facing a liquidation attack must be strengthened.
After the discussion panel the festival was started with a big inauguration and a minute of silence for the revolutionary martyrs. During the opening the slogans "Long live our party MLCP", "Long live revolutionary solidarity" and "Disa disa serhildan MLKP Kurdistan" in Kurdish were shouted. The programme continued with a performance of folk dances and the singer Cagdas. After that, a representative of our party held a speech that was often interrupted by slogans. Our representative called on everybody to strengthen the MLCP and said that the MLCP's march under fire is continuing. The MLCP's women communists organised a march during the speech shouting "Long live our 4th Congress" and "Women, to the party, the MLCP". Then, Cevdet Bagca went on the stage.
DTP Sirnak deputy Hasip Kaplan talked about the Kurdish Initiative. He mentioned that the peace groups setting off soon will be welcomed in the
way possible.
In the second half of the festival, relatives of the martyrs and our comrades who had participated in the death fast s were invited on the stage. MLCP martyr Sengul Boran held a speech in the name of the families of the martyrs saying to the masses that it's good that they came and that they're together. She also commemorated the immortals. The festival continued with a shot film showing the history of the party. Then the singers Birol Topaloglu and Siwan went on the stage followed by the music group Vardiya. The singer Ferhat Tunc was the next one performing and the festival finally ended with the music group Kardes Turkuler.
Many revolutionary organisations and parties sent greeting messages to the 15th year of foundation of our party. The international delegates were also invited on the stage and shared their feelings with the masses. Among the organisations joining the festival there were The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), the Marxist Leninist Party of Germany (MLPD), the Marxist Leninist Blok (BLOC-ML) from Belgium and the Belgium Section of the International Red Help (SRI-Belgium), the Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist-Leninist) (CPGBml), Communist Party Maoist (Pcm) from Italy and the (new) Italian Communist Party, the Rencberen Party from Iran as well as the Maulets youth organisation from Catalonia. Many organisations from Turkey/Northern Kurdistan and from different regions of the world sent greeting messages to the festival.
