The class struggle and the need to solve the Kurdish question require the united revolutionary-progressive movement to be centralised and strengthened in our country. A front must be created in Turkey consisting of the working class and the oppressed masses.

The incidents in Turkey and Northern Kurdistan events, the operations carried out at the same time, the series of conspiracies and provocations show the colonial fascist regime's insistence on its traditional politics of annihilation and liquidation. And now, it can't be hidden anymore that the essence of the plan of the "Kurdish Initiative" that has been on the agenda of the bourgeois state and the government was in fact to liquidate the PKK and the Kurdish national movement.
The Turkish bourgeois state continues with the negotiations at the summit of the three, its Interior Minister B. Atalay met with Iraq and the USA. At the meeting, the following aims were decided: the dissolution of Maxmur Camp in Southern Kurdistan (Iraqi Kurdistan) that ensures the logistic support to the PKK, the transfer of some groups that broke relations with the PKK to Turkey; and at the same time the realisation of the decision on a plan to annihilate and liquidate the PKK forces in Kandil in collaboration with Iraq, South Kurdistan and the USA. Besides Mesut Barzani, the leader of the regional administration of Kurdistan, the Prime Minister Barham Salih and other authorities, the British Minister Ivan Lewis responsible for Northern Africa and the Middle East also joined the meeting in Arbil. The collaboration between the USA, Israel and Great Britain in the Middle East is steady. And historically, Great Britain has always taken place in important strategic meetings and agreements concerning the Middle East. There is no doubt that in the last years, many meetings with this content and of this kind were organised. None of them showed results. The forces of South Kurdistan couldn't be made fighting against the PKK in practice. In the new period, the military attack of the colonial Turkish bourgeois army on Kandil mainly depends on if they will get military support by the USA and the South Kurdistan forces.
The trial on banning the DTP that has postponed for almost two years by the Constitutional Court, quickly took place. Within a few days, the DTP was banned in unison. DTP co-president Ahmet Turk and Diyarbakir deputy Aysel Tugluk were forbidden to be active in politics, and they were also striped of being MPs. 37 people, among them also DTP leaders, were forbidden to become involved actively in politics for 5 years. This decision isn't a juridical decision on the DTP that fights against the colonial regime's plan of liquidation and that managed to expose this plan, but a political decision. It is the liquidation of this party that managed to realise the formation of a Kurdish political army within the political arena. Following this decision, the DTP decided to leave Parliament and to have a break.
The death pit the Kurdish national leader A. Ocalan is imprisoned at, taking him out of the isolation cell and the ban on the DTP caused revolts on the streets in the Turkish metropolises and the Kurdish towns, and Kurdish Serhildan s came up. The signs of the break appeared as serious rebellions and trials. The fascist state panicked and made some changes in Ocalan's cell, and made Ocalan start to meet up with the other prisoners. His right of one hour exercise yard was increased to two hours. A. Ocalan's idea, which he announced through his lawyers, that the DTP MPs who had decided on resignation should return to Parliament and form a group together with the progressive, independent deputy Ufuk Uras, made tensions calm down and stop the serhildan s inflamed.
The DTP mayors and some leaders that went back to Parliament and joined the BDP , whose foundation had taken place before, faced attacks by the government and were arrested the next day. This situation caused new tensions and the BDP called on the Kurdish people to start a new resistance and actions.
Besides the Kurdish rebellion in Turkey, there's is nowadays more the risk of an internal war, of a Turkish-Kurdish clash. It is the Kurdish youth and women that are the driving force of the serhildans in Kurdistan. The youth that are at the age of children are the main participants of the revolts on the streets and the anti-colonial struggle. The Kurdish youth face the bullets of the colonial war, they are punched, tortured and arrested and put behind bars. The Kurdish youth have lived the pain, the burden and difficulties of the war lasting for 25 years. They look at the guerrilla and the serhildans. Their state of mind, feelings and thoughts; the oppression they have faced, humiliation and exclusion created fury and reaction. This situation means that the PKK's power to fight is growing and this is the colonial regime's fear.
The Kurdish national movement is passing a specific, muddled and multidirectional struggle period. During such periods of trouble, there are important conditions, dynamics and opportunities. The actors of the period or the political subjects will play an important role for the development.
The class struggle and the need to solve the Kurdish question require the united revolutionary-progressive movement to be centralised and strengthened in our country. A front must be created in Turkey consisting of the working class and the oppressed masses. The actions of the workers of TEKEL, railway and the fire fighters today are giving the signs for that. Besides, this will also be achieved when the revolutionary forces will overcome their situation of being scattered, separated and uninfluential; of only watching and recording, of only awaiting and being apolitical. This, however, will be ensured by the revolutionary will and action that will fight with practical politics and tactics.
