Undoubtedly, Obama who ran towards war and shouting for peace at the same time, is "different" than Bush. Bush destroyed Iraq, and Obama is destroying Afghanistan. 01 January 2010 /International Bulletin /Issue 89 Obama who was recently given the Nobel Peace Prize talked about the "war" even when he awarded the prize. And he tried to legitimate his words by saying "this war is necessary for peace". The prize Obama received once again displayed the imperialist bourgeoisie's understanding of "peace" and "democracy". Undoubtedly, Obama who ran towards war and shouting for peace at the same time, is "different" than Bush. Bush destroyed Iraq, and Obama is destroying Afghanistan. And he even made Pakistan become a part of this aggression by going beyond. Yes, Nobel Obama who will "ensure world peace" has made US imperialism become mired in the AF-PAK quagmire after Iraq. Obama forgot his calls for a dialog he had made after the elections, and now tries to convince the US people to approve the war in Afghanistan. On the other hand, he tries to make the other imperialist centres and collaborators get involved. For this, Obama declared to send 30,000 new soldiers to Afghanistan despite the US people's objections and promised the people that "our soldiers will return after 8 months". In addition, he made a call to the NATO forces and asked for more combat force. Great Britain has already started to send 500 additional soldiers. France didn't give Obama an answer. And Obama determinedly continues to call the world's leaders and explain his strategy in Afghanistan. The new strategy is the following: More massacres and aggression to make the occupation forces that got in trouble in AF-PAK relax, among them mainly the USA. Nevertheless, the USA isn't able to solve its problems and even failed to make the suggested bribe become accepted or has been unable to keep up. The concession of the "Sharia leadership" given to Pakistan for one region totally backfired. Obama's bribe that "the Taliban centre can participate in the leadership" which he said in Afghanistan wasn't even answered. There are innumerable martyrs killed by the occupying forces and their collaborators. The occupying forces that got into trouble carry out raids on empty houses accompanied by cameras to deceive the public, and they try to overcome their weakness with massacres on civilians. While the collaborators, the AF-PAK governments, that are the symbols of the so-called democracy, make the people's life unbearable on the one hand, they act corruptly on the other had even being in such a situation. The Turkish bourgeois state was one of the collaborator countries that were asked by Obama to send their troops. The Turkish bourgeois state's Prime Minister Erdogan met with Obama on December 7 at the White House. At his last visit in Turkey, Obama had announced the Turkish state as a "model partnership", and the Turkish collaborator bourgeoisie has made great efforts concerning a model collaboration and chased a rainbow in the Middle East in the time passed. The collaborating Turkish state had anyway doubled the number of its soldiers in Afghanistan 3 months before the meeting on December 7 and increased up to 1750. Briefly before the meeting, Erdogan went to Iraq, Iran and Pakistan. While these efforts of Erdogan were appreciated by Obama, Erdogan once again declared to be ready for any task given to him before he left the US borders. Despite this servitude and Obama's insistence, Turkish colonialism once again declared that it won't let its soldiers affiliated to NATO fight. As opposed to this, it announced to be willing to train Afghan policemen, and at the same time to continue to train some of the Afghan soldiers who had already been trained within its Turkish borders. This is today's picture, and the USA is thinking of the need on combat forces that could arise in future and for this, it wanted to be sure. This is the reason why Obama said in the press meeting at the White House that Turkey's role within the NATO had to be increased, and he directly offered a bribe. And more important than that, behind closed doors the liquidation of Maxmur Camp and Kandil were discussed in return for fighting in Afghanistan. These were the negotiations made at the meeting. While Obama is introduced as the leader of "world peace" by US imperialism, Erdogan is launched by Turkish colonialism as the leader to contribute to world peace and mainly to the peace in the Middle East in addition to Obama. Because of this, Erdogan once more showed the "courage" in the USA to criticize Israel's attack on Gaza. However, the fact that both leaders are the direst responsible forces for the massacres on the soil occupied is being hidden. Obama is the one responsible for the massacres in Iraq and Afghanistan, and Erdogan is responsible for the massacres in Kurdistan. And when Erdogan, who answers the Kurdish people's outcry for peace with distraction and oppressing politics within his state's borders, is talking of contributing to peace in the region, this is nothing else than hypocrisy. In this sense, it is important to explain to the peoples of the region that Turkish colonialism doesn't want the Turkish and Kurdish youth participate in the war because of its current profits and needs, and all this is told with the lie that "we can't use arms against Muslims in Afghanistan". The peoples of the Middle East must know that Erdogan is a murderer just like Obama dipped into Muslim sauce. If required due to the profits, he would make Turkish and Kurdish young men become the side dish on the dining table of Obama without hesitating. And he is the candidate to drink the blood of the peoples of the region together with Obama if time has come, just like drinking the Kurdish people's blood today. For this reason, the last Erdogan - Obama meeting that was made in the shadow of despair of the USA mired in the AF-PAK quagmire isn't an effort for "world peace" as claimed but a door opened to war and aggression in the whole Middle East. By supporting the other imperialist forces and collaborators, US imperialism will concentrate to oppress the resistance against the occupation in AF-PAK. The peoples of the world, and first of all the peoples of the Middle East, as well as the progressive forces must be aware of this new wave of attack of which it is clear that it will be comprehensive. The international solidarity with many actions shown for Iraq must be shown for AF-PAK today.
