Limter-Is education specialist and communist workers' leader Suleyman Yeter who was murdered on March 7, 1999 while being under arrest was commemorated at his grave by his family and comrades. Yeter was arrested and murdered under arrest with torture 11 years ago by the anti-terror unit's police. Besides Limter-Is, Alibeykoy Tunceliler Association, Tekstil-Sen and ESP joined the commemoration at the cemetery at Alibeykoy, İstanbul. Yeter's wife and comrade reminded in a speech that the murderers of the period of the military coup on September 12, 1980 still walk around freely just like Yeter's murderers. Yeter emphasized that this it is a state policy to protect the torturers and declared that the struggle must go on so that all bad things in the country will come to light.
