The militia of our party MLCP continues with its actions for Mayday, the Day of Unity, Struggle and Solidarity. The militia realised some actions in the labourer quarters of the Asian part of Istanbul on April 19 and called on the workers and labourers to participate in Mayday. In several quarters banners were hanged up at the same time, and posters, too, read "Let's meet at Taxim on Mayday, MLCP". Our party's militia wrote different slogans on the walls "It is the MLCP who is going to demand an account of the murderers" and "Let's meet at Taxim on Mayday".{divide}
Our militia realised another action in the quarter Gulsuyu on April 21 with automatic weapons. In the evening hours our militia held agitation speeches at three cafes calling on the labourers to participate in Mayday. The militia declared that Mayday will be celebrated suitable to Mayday. The MLCP activists called on the labourers to organise themselves within the ranks of our party. Later on, the militia of our party blocked the traffic on the main road with Molotov cocktails. The militia shouted different slogans such as "For the victory of the revolution, long live our party MLCP" and "Long live our party MLCP" and commemorated our comrade Hasan Albayrak who was killed by the police on Mayday 1996 at Kadikoy, Istanbul. The banner read "Let's meet at Taxim on Mayday, MLCP" was hanged up for one day.
