On September 29, the 3rd Civil Court of General Jurisdiction in Istanbul decided on the closedown of Genc-Sen , the student youth's trade union affiliated to the DISK . Genc-Sen struggles for equal, gratis, scientific education in mother tongue on the basis of the concrete problems and demands of the student youth. The executive board of Genc-Sen announced that they will carry the case to the Supreme Court and they will continue their struggle despite the decision of closedown.
