Comrade Ali Ekber Yurek, honour member of our MLCP, was arrested after the military fascist coup of September 12, 1980 and killed under torture.
As an achievement of the struggle for bringing the putchists in front of courts, the legal process was re-opened and the grave of Yurek was excavated after 30 years on May 6, 2011. The bones were exposed to forensic investigation. The autopsy report states that it has been impossible to fix if the body was exposed to torture since the bones are too much damaged because of the passing time. The bones of comrade Yurek was re-buried on October 28 in Dersim. The legal proceeding and the struggle of the family continue.
