MahmutAlinak and Mehmet Ayata, lawyers of the PKK leader A. Ocalan were put in jail following the imprisonment of 34 lawyers of Ocalan.
On November 22, 34 out of the 42 arrested lawyers were put in jail and 8 were set free. On December 8, the court decided the imprisonment of 4 more lawyers including Alinak. The lawyers are accused of being members of KCK and carrying information between A. Ocalan and the guerrilla forces.
