Murat Elibol, 21 year-old university student was shot dead by the police after the rally organized by BDP in Diyarbakir on December 3. After the rally, the demonstrators started to march towards the Baglar district where the police attacked them by gas bombs and gunfire. Elibol was shot in the back here and lost his life in the hospital. The autopsy reports confirm the fact that he was dead due to the police bullet in his back. The funeral of Murat Elibol was attacked by the police, too. Several young people were arrested during the funeral.
