The Headquarters of HPG made a statement on the martyrdom of our comrade Yasemin Ciftci. The text of the statement of our comrades in arm from HPG is as follows:

"To the press and the publicity,
MLCP member Yasemin Ciftci, who continued her struggle in the ranks of the Revolutionary Movement of Turkey with great faith, wanted to continue her revolutionary struggle with a big meaningful action against the genocide regime of the AKP fascism against the peoples of Kurdistan and Turkey. Yasemin Ciftci turned into a martyr during the preparations of this action, in her magnificient march with the faith of increasing the struggle of the Free and Democratic Peoples of Turkey.
We commemorate her martyrdom with great respect and we believe that the youth of Turkey and Kurdistan defending the free unity of the peoples to say "stop" to fascism will assume her resistant struggle
