The international revolutionary and communist movement is entering year 2012 with such world panorama. The level of the mass movement has gone beyond the level of action and organisation of the revolutionary and communist forces in each country and on the international level. The working class and the labouring masses have left their defensive position behind and mounted and important offensive even targeting the regimes with great courage and initiative.

We are entering the year 2012 with a world scene that is shaking with the rebellions of the working class and the labourers. Tunisia, Egypt, Algeria, Yemen, Bahrain, Qatar and many other Middle Eastern/North African countries, the important imperialist/capitalist centres of the West such as Spain, Greece, Italy, France, England and the USA, the imperialist and expansionist countries of Asia such as India and China have been the scenes of peoples' uprisings and broad-wide workers' resistances, while the continuing armed resistances, those in Kurdistan, Colombia and India at the first place, are under a heavy siege.
The effects of the world economic crisis on the working class and labouring masses caused that in each of these countries the accumulated rage multiplied and turned into rebellions. The strikes and resistances starting to get intensified in 2010 in Europe, Asia and Middle East /North Africa culminated with the people's uprising in Tunisia at the end of 2010. The year 2011 witnessed that these rebellions showed a great development in terms of quality, quantity and broadness. The working class and the labourers once more showed face in the scene of history with its destructive and constructive power and showed the imperialists and their collaborators that they cannot act according to their whims throughout the world.
Together with Tunisia and Egypt, the wave of rebellions covering the entire North Africa and the Middle East targeted the collaborationist regimes and overthrew the decades-long-reigning dictators such as Mubarak and Ben Ali. Despite all the manoeuvres of the collaborationist bourgeois forces and the imperialists as well as the weakness of the revolutionary leaderships, the snowballing resistances in tens of countries of the region still continue.
The EU states are floundering in the quagmire of debt crises, the austerity measures imposed to the Greek peoples by the leadership of Germany and France to save the Greek bourgeoisie from the crisis made Greece the epicentre of the rebellions in Europe. The Greek people burnt down the streets with a heroic resistance for several months against the collaborationist bourgeoisie and against the entire EU which stood as a united body against this resistance despite all its internal conflicts. The Indignados movement protagonised by the working, unemployed and student youth in Spain became another focus of mass resistance and rebellion. Street rebellions and barricade resistances arose in Italy, France and even in England. Moreover, the wave of rebellions spread to the USA by the "Occupy Wall Street" actions.
The imperialists and the collaborating bourgeoisies responded this wave of rebellions and revolutionary processes by increasing the counterrevolutionary violence. The formality of the bourgeois democracies became once more clearly visible. In the EU countries presented as the so-called cradles of democracy, the governments of technocrats were put in power in Greece and Italy and the fascist terror was increased at the streets by the ratification of Germany and France, who try to utilise from the economic crises in these countries in order to swallow them. In these countries, which are floundering in the quagmire of debt crises, the economic crises had combined with a political crisis after the rise of workers'-labourers' resistance. The fascist massacre in Norway was the culmination of the fascist terror increased under the permission of the bourgeoisie in Europe. Killings against immigrant people continued. In Spain, People's Party won the elections.
In North Africa and the Middle East, collaborationist states opened fire at the demonstrations and killed hundreds of workers and labourers. These interventions did not extinguish but flared up the fire of rebellion. The comprehensive intervention of the imperialists in the process of rebellions in North Africa and Middle East developed with the reactionary civil war provoked and supported in Libya getting use of the process of rebellions. The imperialist forces tried to tow the regional wave of rebellions, which ruined their plans but did not take their course due to not meeting a revolutionary leadership, for their own regional plans; they tried to use the accumulated rage of the peoples against the Assad family and government, butchers of the Syrian peoples, by turning this into the starting point of an imperialist intervention to Syria. The plans carried out in Syria are the signs of the preparations of a regional war that will target the Russia-Iran line in the middle and long term. As an important actor and factor here, the Kurdish national movement has been subjected to the fire of counter-revolutionary intervention and the last days of 2011 have witnessed the Uludere massacre showing once more that the coming process will bear heavy clashes.
The international and communist movement has the duty of developing the conscious and preparation required for a correct intervention in this process and making a fast evaluation and recovery of the shortcomings in the past year. The world scene presents extremely favourable conditions for democratic and socialist revolutions.
