Newroz celebrations will continue with demonstrations in many cities within the context of the 127 marches scheduled by BDP and many other local actions.
On the same day with the huge demonstrations in Istanbul and Amed, Newroz was celebrated in Bursa, Agri, Urfa, Ankara and Erzincan, too.
KCK published a statement evaluating the celebrations on March 18. It stressed that a new process has been started by the people of Kurdistan together with the Newroz celebration in Amed. It called upon the Kurdish people to continue this resistance in the coming Newroz celebrations, to put forward its will at any cost and not to surrender before the AKP fascism.
Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to participate at the celebrations during the whole week.
