On 27^th October the Law Office Of the Oppressed (EHB) explained in its statement published at Etkin News Agency that the state targets the socialists in the name of fighting ISIS. In the statement it said: “Our clients are being targeted in the name of fighting terrorist ISIS led by the intelligence, there is no ongoing trial against our clients. This declaration is a part of the fight against the socialists and another scenario of the attack to annihilate such as the massacre of Suruc.”

In the declaration it also said that “the 44 people in the suicide bombers list published by the intelligence department of the police headquarters are in a preparation for a sensational action of the MLCP”. Due to this claim pictures and the personal data of 40 people were handed over to the press.

In its statement the EHB said that the socialists are being targeted instead of fighting ISIS: “The police and intelligence targeted the socialists instead of finding out about the structure and relations of ISIS that came out with the massacres in Diyarbakir, Suruc and Ankara and handing this information over to law.”

The EHB declared that the lawyers will pursue the trials against 40 of those in the list prepared by the intelligence department and that this list as well as the claim of a sensational action have no judicial ground.

The fascist dictatorship has always organised provocations suitable to the daily conditions; this is today’s provocation in order to target the socialists in the name of fighting ISIS.
