On 24th June 52% of the voters (72.2% voters in total) in the referendum in Great Britain voted for the Brexit. Although the referendum wasn’t official, the parliament won’t ignore this political decision. Though there is a high demand for a new referendum, it is quite clear that the decision can’t be retracted. Reasons for that are the official announcements, the call of the EU to finalize the Brexit period soon as well as the wish not to impede the plan. With the Brexit, the EU has entered its biggest and deepest political, economic and military crisis period. Together with Germany and France this country was of the main backbones of the EU. We’ll see how the Brexit will have an impact on this imperialist economic integration. This Brexit won’t only evoke the shake of the EU but has also elements that could lead to other developments. Great Britain, which is the “Trojan horse” of the US imperialism within the EU, experienced its first veto by France in 1963 when it first applied to become a member of the EU. It was only approved to become a member in 1973 when applying for the second time. Within the EU, Great Britain has always used to be different through being an isle and claiming sovereignty and being a protector of its own “national” interests (not using the Euro, not supporting the EU’s refugee policy). Concerning the Brexit, we could say the following disregarding the complot theorists: The polarisation among the British society is remarkable. Reactionary and nationalist, racist forces used this polarisation for the referendum. However, the Brexit shouldn’t only be attributed to only this reason. This would be quite superficial and wrong. On the other hand, there is quite a high level of dissatisfaction of the government of Great Britain and of EU politics among the working class and labourers masses. As a result of the globalisation of the capital and production, work places were closed and ten thousands of people became unemployed (e.g. mine, iron and automobile industries). This also played a certain role for the Brexit. The bourgeoisie of Great Britain that couldn’t become part of the international monopolies is actually the main campaigner of the Brexit campaign. With the economy globalising or otherwise said, the widening of the alignment to international standards, this bourgeoisie which isn’t monopolist or which is monopolist but not on an international level was leading the campaign with a lot of effort so that its chances for competition against international monopolies would be higher Though no evidences could yet be recognised, in the end as a result of the competition among the USA-EU, there could be a common step by the USA and Great Britain in order to break the international influence of German imperialism. An EU without Great Britain will be an EU that has lost a lot of its power. (After Germany Great Britain has the second largest economy and has the biggest army within the EU. Apart from that, this country is one of the most important financial centres (London) in the world and within the EU, it is the strongest financial centre.) The results of the Brexit could make the EU weaker and break its power for competition: The Brexit could have a domino effect on the other EU-countries, and in other countries (France, Netherlands and Italy) the Brexit is being demanded. This Brexit made the movement for independence of Scotland, which is part of the monarchy in Great Britain, become active. When this period continues, Great Britain will be divided up into national countries (Northern Ireland and Scotland will leave the monarchy). This will also show how deep the crisis is in which the “Western values society” is at the moment. When Great Britain decided to leave the EU, the founding six member countries met up immediately desiring to go back to the “factory settings”. It is strange though that especially Germany encourages for a “European Military Union”. The unavoidable geopolitical results from the Brexit will also lead to results such as redefining the areas of interests, strengthening the alliance between the USA and Great Britain within and outside the EU. The NATO will act more regarding the partnership between the USA and Great Britain in order to weaken the weak points of the EU even more within the EU and within other areas. Finally, the Brexit has factors in it that will intensify the contradictions between the EU and the US/Great Britain.
