Zionist Israel bombed intensively the Lebanon for about one month; it brought about one million people to the immigrant position, it mainly devastated infrastructure of the country- about 6 million dollar. They killed more than 1000 people, which were children, women and elderly people. Nevertheless, the attackers; Israel and the American imperialism, which is behind Israel, could not reach their aims.

The war, which was immediately started to find the kidnapped soldiers and was a pre-planned war, did not reach its aim. It is now a fact and told openly that the war was pre-decided, prepared and they were only looking for means to begin with it and they took the captivity of soldiers as the pretext for it.

According to the plan of Zionist Israel, it could have been reached within three weeks its aim by attacking Lebanon. It should have been destroyed the rocket platforms, the command structure and logistic of Hezbollah in first week. It should have been bombed rocket basis and annihilated its supply ways in second week. It should have been destroyed the rest of the targets by limited land warfare within third week.

Israel could not reach its objective breaking the armed resistance. Despite of bombing 4600 targets within the first week, the Zionists could not reach their aims. They could neither stop the firing of the rockets nor did the civil war, which they hopped, blast off. In contrast, the attack of Israel became a factor to unite Lebanese people against aggressors. Communist Party of Lebanon called on the people for armed resistance.

Israel and the USA, who could not reach their target in Lebanon, experiences a position of which they can not carry out their plan about Syria and Iran.

Because of political defeat, the USA imperialism and Israel was forced to accept the 1701 resolution of UN. Throughout this resolution is attempted to limit the utter defeat of Israel on one side and on the other side mainly USA, the imperialist powers will attempt to realise their plan on the Middle East through the resolution of the UN.

The resolution fully addresses the interests of imperialist powers:
-weapons to be put into silence,
-UN Peace Force will be entrusted, the number of the Peace Force, which is already there, will be increased from 2000 to 15000.
-Hezbollah will be disarmed. A military unit of Lebanon, therefore, will be positioned on the south of the country.
-Israel will pull out its soldiers from Lebanon, etc. But it can continue to bomb the country when it saw a necessity until UN's Force take its work.

It is exactly a resolution in the benefit of Israel and imperialism. It could not be expected another kind of resolution. Aggressor Israel, which transformed Lebanon into a blood lake, which burned down the country, which did the same destruction and same massacre in Gaza and West Bank, which arrested the members of Palestine government and parliament, will withdraw its soldiers from Lebanon as if nothing has happened and the forces, which resisted against aggression, will be disarmed. This is the order of Zionist and imperialist "justice" from the mouth of UN!

Through the UN Force, the southern part of the country is going to be occupied in practice by the imperialist forces. Lebanon will be the deputy sheriff of the UN force with 15000 soldiers. This resolution serves to the distortion of reality. This resolution legitimates the occupation of southern of Lebanon by imperialist forces under name of UN and thus it gives the possibilities to Israel and the USA imperialism to approach another step to their targets. So, Lebanon is being transformed into a protectorate.

The UN force will not bring peace to the region, but it will protect the interests of imperialists and Israel. Imperialists powers will settle in Lebanon and will use the country as a military base for reorganising the Middle East in regard to their interests. The existence of them in Lebanon also means a threat against the resisting forces.

The Zionist occupation and the Turkish state's preparation to send troops to Lebanon in the frames of UN decision became the target of anti-imperialist, revolutionary and communist forces in Turkey and Northern Kurdistan. Whilst ESP have sent solidarity messages to the people of Lebanon and Palestine through opening street stands and organising demos, on 6 August, the police attacked to the solidarity tend for Palestine and arrested 30 ESP activists. The ESP activities on 14 and 15 August, where people put up banners on the districts buildings of governing party, AKP , also met with police attacks and arrests. On 19 August, through their action at the entrance of the Incirlik Base in Adana, IHD , ESP, DHP, SDP , EMEP , DTP , Isci Mucadelesi, CHKM and Alinteri have protested the transportation of military equipment to Israel from Incirlik Base and Mersin Tasucu Dockyard. By demanding the withdrawal of Turkey ambassador from Israel and cut off all economic and political relations with Israel, they have called for a struggle against sending of troops to Lebanon. On 20 August, 10 thousand people said "NO" to sending of troops to Lebanon in the demonstration organised by trade unions and chambers of professions in Istanbul-Kadikoy. There were organised rallies with torches in labouring neighbourhoods of Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir. And the revolutionary prisoners have protested the Zionist occupation and saluted the Lebanon and Palestine resistance by organising a 3-day of hunger strike.
