PKK had announced seize-fires a few times in the past as well, during the process of its struggle. The first unilateral seize-fire was announced in May 1993, the second one in December 19 95, the third one in September 1998 and the fourth one in September 1999 by PKK. And the fifth unilateral seize-fire was announced on 30 September 2006 after the call of A.Ocalan, the leader of PKK, from the prison. For the reason that there has not been any change in the fascist dictatorship’s policies towards the Kurds; in its approach of denial and annihilation, we can say that the result of the last seize-fire will not be different from the previous ones. The colonialist Turkish state responded the first seize-fire with the intense attack called “the concept of 1993”. The respond to the second seize-fire was to organize a homicide against A. Ocalan. The respond to the third one was the intensification and internationalization of the attacks and the expulsion of A. Ocalan from Syria as a result of the complot in common by the imperialist countries. The colonialist state which captured Ocalan responded the fourth seize-fore with the policy of liquidating the national movement by corrupting it. And its respond to the last seize-fire consists of “we will not give any concession until no terrorist remains in the mountains”. Undoubtedly, some bourgeois circles express that the seize-fire process must be evaluated well and that this is an opportunity. We can call this a rupture within the bourgeoisie on the Kurdish policy. And this kind of rupture has always existed. Bur there has been no change in the colonialist fascist dictatorship’s policy of denial and annihilation. The new concept which finds its expression in the “Anti-terror Law” (which you can read as the “Anti-social Law”) has two axes: One of these is to eliminate the Kurdish national movement in the name of PKK. The second axe of the concept is to eliminate the revolutionary and communist movement in Turkey. The fascist dictatorship tries to intimidate, to isolate and, finally, to eliminate the revolutionary and communist movement on one side and the Kurdish national movement on the other side with all means and methods, by organizing massacres as it did in Diyarbakir in September, by organizing raids, arrestments and imprisonments in more than 20 cities since the 8th of September. The Executive Committee of Koma Komalen Kürdistan announced that the HPG forces (Popular Defence Forces) will not use arms unless it is inevitable, during the process of seize-fire which would be valid after 1 October 2006. This means if the Turkish army does not organize military operations against them, they will not use arms. Since the foundation of the Turkish Republic, the Kurdish policy of the colonialist state has not known anything but the use of force and denial and annihilation. As the previous seize-fire processes have also shown, the colonialist dictatorship imposes annihilation to the Kurdish people. The last seize-fire is considered as the “last opportunity” by Ocalan and KKK. This consideration can create a base for unrealizable expectations among the Kurdish people. And a possible prolongation of the seize-fire can help the “corruption” policy of the state. Furthermore, exaggerated expressions on USA and EU can also create a ground for empty dreams. The attitude of the imperialist countries is very well-known. It must not be forgotten that the colonialist fascist dictatorship and the imperialist countries share the same approach on not recognizing PKK, on breaking its influence and finally, on dismembering/liquidating it. Thus, the elimination of the revolutionary potential, which continues to exist within the Kurdish reformist national movement and among the Kurdish people in general, is aimed. The developments since the attack in Semdinli until now show that the state is resolute on not seizing fire. The attack in Semdinli, the provocation of bombing the Administrative Supreme Court, the military concentration in Northern Kurdistan, the continuing military operations, the massacre of children in Diyarbakir, the terror blown in the West (Turkey-t.n.) with the imprisonment of revolutionary and communists and with raids against democratic organizations are the clear indicators of that the fascist dictatorship implements its policy of destruction, intimidation, liquidation and annihilation in an intensified manner. Under these conditions, it must be raised clearly that the guerilla is the only guarantee of the Kurdish people’s right to make policy for its own future against the attacks of destruction, intimidation and liquidation.
