The attacks, which were started by the fascist dictatorship in September 2006, on our party, and democratic, revolutionary and socialist institutions, are still continuing in different dimensions. The concerted imprisonments on 8-12 September were followed by the imprisonments on 21 September. Until now, the dictatorship has arrested and still continues to arrest many revolutionaries and communists with groundless reasons. Although the 6 months of secrecy period on the files ended, the court dates for the people who were imprisoned between 8 and 12 September have not been fixed yet. The courts for the officials and workers of the institutions who were imprisoned following the attacks on 21 September have already been started. Some of those courts are ended with the release of the people in Antep, Adana, Iskendurun and lastly in Diyarbakir. There are two important trials ahead of us. The first trial is in April. The trial of the officials and activists of ESP , Atilim, EKD , Ozgur Radio, Limter-Is Union and Tekstil-Sen Union is going to take place on 13 April in Istanbul. However, national and international participation and support for both trials are really important. It is important because the attacks are not only concerning or limited to our party and the mentioned democratic and socialist institutions, trade unions and the press. Similar attacks were carried out against HOC , Yuruyus magazine and TAYAD in December 2006. In January, the killing of the Armenian intellectual and journalist H. Dink is also part of this concept of offensive. All these attacks are the result of the fascist dictatorship's concept of liquidation and annihilation that was planned a long time ago and began to be implemented together with the Anti-terror Law in June 2006. The concept has two legs. One of them is the denial of the existence of the Kurdish nation and the annihilation of national struggle. The other one is to liquidate the revolutionary and communist movement and to pull them into the regime borders. Therefore, the concept aims to destroy and surrender all oppositional forces in Turkey and Northern Kurdistan. This concept is not prepared only by the fascist dictatorship. It is an international concept. The imperialist forces and fascist dictatorship feared the developing resistance of the revolutionary forces during the 2004 NATO Summit in Istanbul, and began their preparation to attack. It is the duty for all anti-fascists, revolutionaries and communists on the national and international level to fight against these attacks carried out under the name of "Anti-terror Laws". We can resist and make ineffective these fascist laws only by joint struggle and solidarity. We are face to face with a task to turn these two trials into podiums where fascism and imperialism would be tried. We should try the ones who are trying to judge revolutionaries and communists. Participation into these courts must be seen as one of the bases of raising the united revolutionary struggle. International participation in these courts must be acknowledged as the necessity of international solidarity. We, therefore, are calling on all sensible individuals, organisations and parties from inside and outside the country to participate in these courts. This is the only way to make ineffective the Anti-terror Laws and turn the courts into podiums where the fascist dictatorship and imperialism will be tried. Revolutionary, progressive, communist parties and organisations from the international arena, and, moreover, lawyers, journalists, trade unionists should take part in the international delegations that will monitor the 13 April court in order to be in solidarity with the September prisoners and to try fascist dictatorship. However, the ones who would not be able to attend should organise actions in front of the Turkish consulates on the court dates. We can denounce the imperialist bourgeoisies' and the fascist dictatorship's "fight against terrorism" only by replying them in this way. Resisting to these attacks, turning the courts into podiums where the dictatorship would be tried, at the same time, means defence of the posts gained throughout the class struggle. It should never be forgotten that that it is the political freedoms that are being talked of here. The courts must be turned into spheres where political freedoms will be put into the agenda. Therefore we must increase the struggle, attend the courts and be in solidarity with the political prisoners.
