It recently came out that the judge, who had given the order for the attacks and detentions through the "gaye operation" on our party and socialist organisations in last September, definitely has relations with a drug gang. In an operation named "last point" in July, it was discovered that a public prosecutor and a judge in Istanbul and three public prosecutors and a judge in Ankara have relations with drug gangs.
It was also declared that Ali Kayaoglu, judge at the 14th Heavy Penalty Court, is among those judges who have relations with the drug gangs. The 14th Heavy Penalty Court in Istanbul, that so far has attracted interest due to its decisions taken, had decided to give the police the right to "search". After the decision of this court, of whom Kayaoglu is a member, too, dozens of organisations all over the country, among them the newspaper Atilim, the Socialist Platform of the Oppressed, the Association of Labourer Women, the trade unions Limter-Is and Tekstil-Sen , the Socialist Youth Association and the institute BEKSAV , were raided and 60 revolutionaries detained. It was again the same court and judge Ali Kayaoglu who had signed the decision for the ban on publication of the newspapers Atilim and Gundem.
The publicity also got to know that there is a tape which proves the participation of judge Ali Kayaoglu at a "sex party" organised by the drug gang. Kayaoglu was also looking after the case of the gang members of the gang leader Hasan Derya Sol who have been accused of drug dealing.
On July 18, the MLCP prisoners that were taken in front of the Heavy Penalty Court at Besiktas, Istanbul, revealed the relation between the gangs and the judicial machinery and the relation of judge of the 14th Heavy Penalty Court Ali Kayaoglu with the drug gangs. The president of the court that could not bear this revelation of the court gave the police and soldiers the order to brutally attack the prisoners.
It were not only the prisoners who were punched and taken out of the hall, but also their families when they wanted to interfere to what was happening.
