The Day of Unity, Struggle and Solidarity of the Proletariat!

The world working class and the proletariat of our country welcomes the May Day, which is the international day for unity, solidarity and struggle, in the struggle against the capitalist barbarism's ideological, political, social and militarist attacks. As it happens every-year, the world proletariat will burn the fire of struggle -that lighted 118 years ago by the proletariat of Chicago- more stronger in four-corners of the world this year also. It is not for nothing that the May Day is the nightmare of the bourgeoisie. Because, on that day, the workers, the poor and the oppressed people, those who are being damned, treated contemptuously, denigrated and considered as slaves, are taking on the streets and challenging with the bourgeoisie.

May Day is red and will remain red!

The reformists, the chiefs in the trade unions, the ones who tries to tow struggle of the working class to the bourgeoisie, the cowards those who wants to fade the red color -that comes from because of being the day of unity, solidarity and struggle- of the May Day will take the stage again, try to celebrate May Day in saloons or turn it to a picnic. They are going to try to prevent the working class to see its own strength and the celebration of May Day in accordance with its essence.

But, despite to their competition in serving the bourgeoisie, the strength of these helpless people and the bourgeoisie were not enough to fade the red color of the May Day until today, and won't be enough hereafter also. The May Day was gained and defended by the working class through lots of blood. This is why it's red and will remain so.

May Day has appeared in the working classes' fight against the bourgeoisie and, therefore, it is her day for unity, solidarity and struggle and will celebrated as it is.

May Day is the uprising of the international proletariat against the bourgeoisie!

The international proletariat and oppressed peoples are welcoming the May Day in a process where the capitalist exploitation and barbarism has deepened its attacks over the rights that has been achieved by the working class through heavy costs. The bourgeoisie, today, mercilessly attacks to the working class through benefiting from the lack of an international organization of the working class and the weak situation of the communist parties that should be leading her in every single countries. The collective kick outs from the work, the privatization of the public sector, privatization of education and health services, freezing or cuts from the wages, the attacks on the pension rights are the reflections of these attacks almost in all countries. These attacks, which are known as the neo-liberal attacks and, in fact, carried out in order to prevent social and class opposition and uprisings, have been conducted in parallel with the attacks aiming seizure of the democratic and political rights of the workers and laborers under the pretext of security measures especially since the 11 September. Again, the imperialist barbarism headed by the USA is mercilessly continuing on the imperialist occupation, plunder and looting in Iraq, Afghanistan and in many other countries of the world.

But, the workers and laborers of the world have once more time shown -through their worldwide protest actions on 20 March against the war and occupation and through protest actions on 2-3 April against the neo-liberal attacks in Europe- that they will not be silent on the attacks that carried out against their bread, honor and freedom. And now, the task is to unite all actions in single countries, to unite strength of the working class and to increase the fight for socialism, the only liberation of the working class, on May Day. Now, the task is to repulse the neo-liberal attacks of the bourgeoisie and let imperialism to experience another Vietnam by increasing the resistance of the people of Iraq and Palestine.

Workers and Laborers!

MLCP, which is the vanguard force of the international proletariat in Turkey and Northern Kurdistan, calls upon the international proletariat to apply "Workers of all countries, unite" directive of our great teacher, Karl Marx, and to celebrate May Day in accordance with its essence, as a fighting day for socialism.

MLCP calls upon the working class of Turkey/Northern Kurdistan and the world to turn off the switches and to take on the streets. She calls to take on the streets with the struggling and sacrificing spirit of the leaders of the American working class, Albert Persons, Adolph Fischer, George Engel and August Spies those who are showing the path to us by creation of the May Day. She calls to settle accounts with the bourgeoisie for our May Day martyrs.

MLCP will do what is necessary on this subject and going to take her place on the streets with the slogan of "Another world is socialism", and will increase the fire of socialism.

Let the bourgeoisie tremble! The fire strengthened by the May Days will go all around and will burn and destroy their sovereignty -which is built with blood and oppression- and will definitely put the red flag of the socialism to the sky-blue. Here we are coming! We are coming from Africa, Asia, America, Europe and Australia. We are in every color, black, white, yellow. We don't make separation of religion, language and race. We are coming with our red flags, sharp angers, demands on freedom and socialism, song of "International", our revolutionary songs, slogans and by breaking our chains.
