In the face of growing and deepening resistance in Iraq, the US imperialism is in a full fear and panic of defeat. With the beginning of dissolution and uncertainty it becomes fanatical. It massacres the Arab people who defend its own honour, country, culture, national values and richness; it arrests and imprisons children, elderly people and women.

The US imperialism, on the one hand, prepares "human rights reports" for different countries of the world, but on the other hand, they apply torturing methods that watched by humanity in hatred. On one hand, it wants to bring S. HFCseyin to justice as a war criminal, but on the other hand, it states "the citizens of USA cannot be tried as war criminals", including the torturers on the pictures filling the press currently. On one hand, it "searches for chemical weapon in Iraq, and could not find them", but on the other hand, it produces, sales and uses chemical weapons.

As having lack of moral and lawful values of humanity in its history, the US imperialism shows all examples of capitalist barbarism and cruelty by using reactionary experiences and methods of the colonialism and militarism in history. The massacre of the civil people and use of torture by the USA through not recognizing any international norms, rules, agreements and settlements, calling generals of the Baath regime to duty, withdraw of soldiers of Spain and other countries from Iraq, all these are, in fact, main signs that the occupants are falling back and having the fear of defeat before the Iraqi peoples war and resistance.

The war and resistance of the people in Iraq is a real slap against the USA aggression, occupation and colonial management. Iraq resists on behalf of all oppressed and persecuted people of the world. It obstructs and invalidates the USA's orientation upon its own strategic aims and the implementation of its regional projects and colonial policies. The weak anti-imperialist struggle and resistance against the occupation in Iraq plays a back forcing and dissuading role against the US aggression. This situation gives great spiritual and moral support to the working class and peoples of the world.

But, unfortunately, the world is still in silence against the barbarism and cruelty of the USA, and only watches. There is no political and international support being given to Iraqi resistance. In the world and in Europe, the intellectuals, democratic mass organisations, anti-imperialists, anti-war people, human right defenders, socialist and left parties are under the influence of chauvinism and ideological siege of imperialism. This situation not only indicates an inaction concerning the political and historical duties but as well the danger of deserting humanity for a dark future and it indicates consequences as not defending the own democratic, political and economical rights won with struggle of the working class and the toilers.

There are two main tasks in front of the communist and revolutionary parties, anti-imperialists, democrats and anti-war people of the world. The first one is the ideological struggle. Having an ideological struggle against the ideological illusion and deviational propagandas and psychological war methods created by the imperialist bourgeoisie all over the world is inevitable. The ideologists of imperialism are trying to show Iraqi resistance as dull and reactionary through demagogies such as "Islamic radicalism", "Islamic terrorism" and "war of civilizations".

But, daily realities talk different. This task will be fulfilled fully when militarism, aggression and colonialism and the hegemony war of imperialism and of the USA will have been exposed with daily happening incidents; when the policy of the USA and the EU, aiming at organising the inner reaction, will have been made known, when it has been clearly shown that the USA did not bring peace, welfare and democracy to Iraq but a bloodbath, internment, torture, lack of national dignity, discrimination, ethnical and religious conflicts.

This task will be completely fulfilled by explaining that imperialism is the centre of world reaction, coinciding with political reaction, that it is imperialism being the source of imperialist wars, unemployment, fascism and chauvinism.

The second one is the political task. The great humanity cannot stand idly by the barbarism and cruelty in Iraq any more. The revolutionary political forces, which are their honour and voice, cannot escape from this task. Revolutionary and communist parties, anti-war platforms, human rights organisations, mass organisations of the working class and toilers cannot participate in this crime against humanity. They should support Iraqi resistance by political actions and activities, by stopping production and making statements, and should condemn the imperialist cruelty!

As being one of the political vanguards of the working class, the toilers and oppressed peoples in the region, MLCP is ready, as it has been until today, to increase and develop this political struggle by its vanguard style intervention and responsibility hereafter also.

Every passing day shows that the "Middle-East Conference", for which the MLCP is calling for a long time, is a burning need of the common struggle in the region. This conference can be turned into a first step of developing a regional united struggle if it will represent the "common will" of at least an important part of the progressive, revolutionary and communist parties of the region.

At the same time, MLCP is of the opinion that all revolutionary, communist and anti-imperialist parties of Europe, especially those from Middle-East in Europe, should develop an effective and united political intervention on the basis of supporting the Iraqi resistance. It considers the preparation, organisation and widening of the political practice under the heading of "Support the Iraqi Resistance, Condemn the Cruelty" as the revolutionary task of the day.

The people of Iraq will win, the occupants will go home!
