September 27 is the 3rd anniversary of the Second Intifada-uprising. The Intifada is a symbol of the Palestinian people's resistance. It is an expression of the anti-imperialist struggle of the Palestinian people.

The Intifada is a popular movement. It is the expression of the fact that a country can be occupied and bombed, but the will of the people, their desire and passion on independence can not be surrendered. The Intifada in Palestine has been born on this point of view and as a spontaneous popular movement. This is a movement that comprises all Palestinian people; all political organizations from radical religionists to Marxists. In terms of its extension and wideness, it is a huge movement which can not be directed only by a single organization, not even by the Autonomy Administration. It is a movement that will never disappear and be defeated as long as the reasons, which caused its existence, continue to exist. And, this is the reason why Israel and the imperialist countries are demanding the Intifada to be stopped. Independently from its political inclination, the Palestinian people is in the consciousness of Intifada's power, and is successfully using it to end occupation and establish an independent Palestine. The movement's zigzag course and its temporary regression do not change the essence of this will declaration. All resistance movements, popular movements; the revolutionary struggle does not go forward always; will pass in a process which has downs and ups. And the Intifada is a movement that goes forward by passing such processes.

There are no agreements made among the Palestinian people and organizations upon the indispensability of Intifada and the use of this form of struggle. All the people and its political organizations are on the consciousness of necessity of Intifada's continuity. Because, all plans made by the Israeli occupants and imperialists are being upset by such a way of resistance.

The Intifada is also playing an uniting mission on the political organizations in terms of certain demands. For example, the return of people from the exile, Jerusalem to be the capital city, establishment of an independent state, all these are the general demands of all Palestinian people and their political organizations. These demands are embodied by the Intifada.

The policies of the Zionism, USA and other imperialist countries to crush and destroy Intifada have ended in failure. The intifada became the greatest and most effective weapon of the Palestinian people. Child generals have grown in the school of Intifada. As a way of making this weapon ineffective, the Zionism and imperialist countries have sought their salvation in the "road map". This road map is a new try to surrender Palestinian people and to make Intifada ineffective.

The Intifada shows to all nations and countries, those who are fighting for their national independence and are under occupation, that the anti-imperialist struggle can be conducted under every condition.

The Intifada's anti-imperialist character and its refusal on reformism and pacifism is also reflected by the international solidarity. The anti-war movement had announced September 27, anniversary date of the Intifada, as the date on which strong worldwide protests should be organized. But despite to that decision, the protests in many countries were ineffective because of the anti-war movement's class stand, their reformist and pacifist line. Because it is against all sorts of war, use of violence, so to the just wars and resistances. This movement did not support the resistance of the Palestine people and the Intifada, or supported them just in words. For example, it did not show the same energy for the Intifada that it has shown in supporting EU's, Germany's and France's, attitude against the USA. This movement had become a supporter of the EU policies; the policies of the German and French imperialists which were apparently against the war on Iraq. But today, because those countries have taken the course of the American imperialism, the movement stays silent and does not show interest to the Intifada, the real expression of the anti-imperialist resistance, and to the imperialist occupation.

But the Palestinian people is not alone. The ones who always feel its struggle deep in their hearts, real anti-imperialists, revolutionaries and communists, the MLCP, have always supported and will support the struggle of the Palestinian people.
