Approval for the occupation of Southern Kurdistan

After the clash between the cliques of its inner forces that weighed heavily during the presidential election period and the early general election period, the colonial fascist regime made the occupation of Southern Kurdistan approved by parliament on October 17 due to a cooperation of the whole forces.
Military operations in Southern Kurdistan have been on the agenda of the colonial fascist regime for months. However, there were main obstacles for the realisation of the operations so far: The regime's forces did not manage to create a unique will and its masters did not give green light to the operations from the USA. Today, there is a unique will in favour of the operation of Southern Kurdistan. During the period of the presidential election and the elections on July 22, the governing party AKP , the main oppositional racist chauvinist party CHP up to the national fascist MHP had been in a ruthless clash against each other, but today all colonial system parties approved the occupation.
Besides aiming at holding control of the Kurdish patriotic and revolutionary forces as well as striking a heavy blow to the PKK in the Southern parallel to the continuing dirty war in Northern Kurdistan, the approval for the occupation is at the same time a strategic step against the formation of a Kurdish state in the Southern. The colonial fascist dictatorship has been seriously in trouble because of the formation of a state in Southern Kurdistan following the US occupation in Iraq and the status of Kirkuk. With the approval by parliament, Turkish colonial fascism undertook a step to prevent this formation period and to realise its aims of expansion concerning Kirkuk. By this, it uses its threat of occupying the Southern as a means of exerting pressure against the federal government in Southern Kurdistan. Through this, it also wants to realise some of its wishes concerning the Kirkuk referendum. On the other hand, Turkish colonial fascism tries to put pressure on the USA to undertake serious steps against the PKK.
With the approval of the occupation, the fascist regime also did the army front a favour as latter had lost its prestige during the early general election period.
However, it did not get yet the permission by its master USA for an operation in Southern Kurdistan. In contrary, the USA answered the discussions on the approval that came up currently with the approval of the Armenian genocide resolution draft by the US House Foreign Affairs Committee. And the colonial fascist regime's answer to this was the approval of the occupation. However, this period has not yet finished. The dirty negotiations continue.
The Turkish parliament's approval of the occupation and the aggression against Southern Kurdistan are undoubtedly accompanied by an increase of the aggression against revolutionary and Kurdish patriotic forces and the mobilisation of the Turkish people to go on the streets gathering under the flag of chauvinism. With the death of 13 soldiers in a clash with HPG guerrillas in Sirnak, racist and fascist attacks have increased enormously. DTP offices were raided, thrown at with stones and set on fire. Houses and work places belonging to Kurds were destroyed. DTP deputies have been surrounded with investigations and tracking. The Kurdish press is attacked by a wave of bans on publication.
With the bourgeois media, it is announced every day that the cross-border war, which is been promoted with life broadcasts directly at the border, will cost a lot.
The Turkish army has already been heavily defeated several times although not having passed the border yet. In a clash in Hakkari, the HPG forces took 8 Turkish soldiers hostage. This incident that was tried to reveal by the bourgeois media with great silence show that this mission of the Turkish fascist regime, who had already organised 24 missions in Southern Kurdistan in the past 24 years, will not be easy, too.
The progressive, revolutionary and communist forces of Turkey and Kurdistan are deeply active to fulfil their duties to expose the aggression against Southern Kurdistan and to impede that the fascist regime reaches its aim to use the Turkish people for this aim; to make the workers and labourers put on soldier uniforms, provoke them with chauvinist hysteria and sent them into the war. They try to raise the slogan of the fraternity of the people against the quagmire the colonial fascist regime has tried to make our people sink in.
