The collaborationist monopoly bourgeoisie never satisfies its master, the American Imperialism. By the cause of rejection of the 1st bill in the Turkish parliament, US imperialism had shown to the Turkish government what sort of problems their servants could face if its demands are not met. The fascist dictatorship understood the seriousness of her situation, it acted quickly with the second bill and agreed in parliament to send soldiers to Iraq. But, during the beginning of preparations of troop deployment, it also became evident that there were some problems on the subject between Turkey and the US. The US imperialism started to move slowly on the question of deployment of Turkish troops. The reason for this was that the US were not able to persuade the collaborationist temporary Iraqi administration, especially the Kurdish representatives, who are taking part in the administration. It was very clear that no one in Iraq wanted Turkey to send troops. By the acceptance of the bill in parliament, the Turkish bourgeoisie declared that they are ready to serve US imperialism also in Iraq, to massacre the people of Iraq and resisters, to guard the American imperialism's interests in the Middle-East and Iraq. Moreover, the fascist dictatorship was thinking that it might realise its annihilation policy on the KADEK (Freedom and Democracy Congress) forces.

What is being understood is that it seems that the troop deployment of Turkey in Iraq had come to a dead end. There are two main reasons for this. Firstly, American imperialism sees that it is stuck in the bog in Iraq, that the resistance is gradually becoming widespread and strong, that it cannot easily build the protectorate regime it strives for, and that the forces to whom it could lean on are very limited. Today, only the Kurds are fully supporting American imperialism. In order to not loose this support, the American imperialism can not ignore their demands. As other organised forces of Iraq, the Kurds are also against the arrival of Turkish troops in Iraq. Because of its difficult situation, the American imperialism have chosen to stay away from the subject by saying that this is a question which has to be discussed between Turkey and the Iraqi administration. And the second reason is the growing struggle in Turkey. Because of the amounting struggle against the troop deployment, the AKP (Justice and Development Party) government has started to understand more and more that the work is not finishing by passing the bill through. The struggle which was realized during the run-up to prevent the passing of the bill in parliament is now being transformed and continues to stop the bill being put into practice and to make it invalid. The AKP government, who fears that the struggle could become widespread among the masses and gain a social character, and after not getting the expected answer from the USA, has started saying that "we are not that much interested in sending troops".

The struggle against sending troops to Iraq has gained a permanent character in Turkey. The political parties, trade unions, youth organisations, women organisations, initiative groups, mothers of soldiers; all parts of the society are participating in this struggle. The struggle has almost spread to every part of the country. The ones, who do not want soldiers to be sent to Iraq, and the social forces, who are against the occupation of Iraq, are pouring out onto the streets.

AKP government is utterly bewildered. On the one hand, it is having difficulty in understanding the attitude of its "strategic partner" USA, on the other hand, it cannot stop the increasing struggle against the troop deployment and occupation. What the bourgeoisie disturbs is that the struggle is fermenting. The collaborationist monopoly bourgeoisie is scared of the voice of the street. Besides the struggle of ESP (Socialist Platform of the Oppressed), EKB (Toiling Women League), D6zgur Genclik (Free Youth), IHD (Human Rights Association), No to War Co-ordinations in different cities and similar formations, there are other forces who struggle against troop deployment to Iraq and the occupation with other methods.

The protest actions of our parties` militia forces on the bill are still continuing. Some of the actions organised by our militia forces are as follows:

During the AKP government's attempt to pass the bill through parliament to become a partner of the occupation, MLCP has called upon the working class and toiling masses through street actions and mass agitations to show the strength of the street and ask account, and still continues to call upon them.

Upon the decision of the government on sending the bill to the parliament (6 October), MLCP has organised an action against the bourgeoisie's plans to send troops to Iraq in Istanbul-Ikitelli. In this action, the following slogans were shouted: "bloody bill will not pass from parliament", "the Middle-East is going to be a grave for the USA", "for the victory of revolution, long live MLCP", "workers to the party, to MLCP".

On the night of October the 7th, when the bill was approved in parliament, the militants of MLCP called upon the people through their demonstrations and mass agitations to ask account. The communists, who went on to the streets just after the acceptance of the bill, have distributed leaflets in the cafes in Gulsuyu with MLCP foulards on their faces and called upon the toilers to go out on to the streets to stop troop deployment to Iraq. Later, they organised street actions in this district.

On the night of 11 October, the MLCP militias have thrown Molotov cocktails to the AKP's Kucuk Dikili office in Adana. The militias have announced the aim of the action as "protest against the approval of the bill in parliament and recent repressions practised against the Kurdish people". MLCP militias have also condemned the bill in Antep-Duztepe by organising a rally with torches. They marched through the streets with slogans such as "we will not be the soldiers of the USA", "USA, get out of Iraq and Kurdistan", "Resistance will win in Iraq", "the collaborators will be brought to justice", "for the victory of revolution, long live MLCP".

The occupants and their stooges are on the target of the bombs:

According to the news appeared in the press, the FESK (Armed Forces of the Poor and Oppressed) is also continuing to do armed actions against the bill.

During the night the Turkish embassy was bombed in Baghdad, the responsibilities of the bombing of five AKP buildings in three different cities have been claimed by the FESK. FESK, in its statement sent to the press through e-mail on 16 October, said that the bombing of the AKP buildings was an answer to the decision of sending troops to Iraq. In its 23 numbered statement, FESK stated that "Through the bombing of the AKP buildings in the districts of Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir on 14 October against AKP's decision to join the occupation beside USA, we have concretised our same thinking and feelings with the oppressed of Iraq in practice". The statement was ended with the sentences "the violence of the oppressed against the occupants and their partners in crime is legitimate. The peoples of the Middle-East will resist and win".

The FESK has also claimed the bombing of institutions such as The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, MUSIAD (Muslim Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association), ISO (Istanbul Industry Association) and The Turkish-American Association in Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir, who are giving open support to the occupation. On the night of 17 October there were explosions in a building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and straight after in the same street, in front of the MUSIAD Branch. In Istanbul, the ISO building situated in Beyoglu was bombed. In Izmir, an explosion occurred in front of the Turkish-American Association situated in Alsancak. FESK, in its 24 numbered statement sent to the press, claimed the bombings which took place at the same time in Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir by saying that "By bombing the Ankara and Istanbul buildings of MUSIAD and ISO, who want to get a slice from the robbing and plundering of Iraq by supporting the USA imperialists' occupation of Iraq, and by bombing the building in Ankara of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who are striving to join the occupation with military forces by passing the bill, and the Turkish-American Association in Izmir on the night of 17 October 2003, we have voiced the anger of the oppressed of the Middle-East". In FESK's statement, it was said that "The oppressed of the Middle-East are going to fight and win. The occupants and their servants are not going to escape from the violence and anger of the oppressed".
