The balances in the Middle East have irreversibly changed. However, all these changes have happened with one difference. While it was expected that the change would be in favour of the Zionist state, the balance has changed in favour of the resistance. Israel's Gaza attack has made the Palestinian resistance that has lost its reputation in the last years in the Middle East and in general all over the world raise again. 01 February 2009 /International Bulletin / Issue: 78 In Palestine, humanity has once again been killed by Zionism. The Gaza attack by Israeli Zionism started first with air raids and then continued with land operations was turned into a barbarity. Zionist Israel has striven for showing how many children it could kill in front of the whole world's eyes. Although children are among the first targets of Zionism, this is not the essential goal of the attacks. With the attacks started by Israel under the pretext of Hamas' missiles for resistance, Israel wants to create a new situation in the Middle East. First of all, Israel wants to proof again what a threatful force it is after having been defeated in Lebanon in 2006. Secondly, it wants the region to be without any resistance. This is why in its attacks started under the pretext of the missiles of Hamas, it concentrated on the Palestinian people's resistance and wanted to threat all resisting movements that could interfere in its future. The targets of this threat are the Hizbullah in Lebanon, all resisting forces in Palestine as well as Syria and Iran. Of course did Israel get the full permission of the imperialist masters for its longing for a new situation, so that the Zionist army's massacre was watched in silence and under the name of diplomacy. When the imperialist masters' Zionist child did not achieve the results through the Gaza massacre it was looking for, the imperialist forces ran for help and made them declare ceasefire. Nevertheless, the Zionist army's attack to "bring Gaza to its knees" has been unsuccessful. Despite the military superiority of the Zionist army state Israel, it could not get off without a political defeat. Zionism has been condemned all over the world, and the resistance in Palestine has been defended. Especially against the collaborating regimes in the Middle East, millions went on the street that are oppressed by these regimes and demanded concrete steps by their regimes. At these actions, Egypt's role within the Zionist and imperialist politics in the region was totally exposed, too. The result of these solidarity actions was Venezuela, Bolivia and Mauritania broke off the relations with Israel. Let's say, untouchable Israel has been touched. And especially this last attack in the region will not be forgotten for years and be the base for new resistances. In the actions against the attacks, the right of the Palestinian people to defend themselves was focused on and solidarity was shown with the armed resistance of Palestine. Israel's political defeat is not limited with this of course. Mahmoud Abbas, who had been raised with special efforts and who is a collaborator fed under any condition, has been shown with all nudity and deformity. He has become the unwanted man in the eyes of the people in the Arab countries he visits. Moreover, what is even more important, the split between the West Bank and Gaza, that was made the product of special negotiations and plans between Israel and Abbas and had been prepared with thousands of intrigues and hostility, has been de facto broken. Both the people of the two sides have shared the fate during the attacks, and they have become more familiar with each other. The power of the resistance has shaken whole Palestine. Even the militants of Al-Fatah in Gaza participated in the resistance despite Abbas and did not answer the calls of Abbas. Yes, Israel wanted to change the balances and they have changed. These are only one part of all changes. Despite the monism of Hamas in Gaza for a long time, Hamas, Al-Fatah, PFLP, DFLP, Islamic Jihad fought together shoulder to shoulder against the attacks. This situation made Israel experience its political defeat. Besides, the PFLP and DFLP have become stronger through their specific armed actions against the attacks. This situation will create appropriate opportunities in future for the foundation of a third resistance front in face of Hamas-Fatah monism that reigns in whole Palestine in general and sometimes has provoked fratricide. The forces of such a third front must thoroughly analyse these opportunities. In addition, it must be mentioned that the international actions have not been centralised enough to be stronger. This situation gives the anti-imperialist and anti-Zionist groups and organisations concrete tasks. It is very obvious that there will be a very tense atmosphere in this region soon. It is also clear that this is not the last attack addressed to Palestine. These general evaluations show that there is a need for regional anti-imperialist unions and coordinations. These regional alliances will be one of the means to especially fight off together the attacks in the Middle East that has been turned to a region of wars, imperialist attacks and resistances. Finally, we consider it as our duty to warn the Middle Eastern people concerning the attitude of Turkey and Prime Minister Erdogan who hosted Olmert as a guest just before the Zionist attacks. The Turkish colonialism with Erdogan as the Prime Minister wants to play a bigger role in the region in favour of imperialism and Zionism, and for that, it uses the concept of "moderate Islam". In this sense, the region does not need a "peace" approach by Turkey that is only in favour of imperialism, and vice versa this situation must be refused. The reaction of Erdogan at the Davos summit that was welcomed with the great sympathy of the Arab people, with the people of Gaza at first must be dealt with in this context besides being an investment for the lecal elections. Erdogan has acted in accordance with the role given to Turkey in the context of the Greater Middle East Project and with the goal of the Tuskish state to be a regional power. The proof for the insincerity of Turkish colonialism is openly shown by the fact that the relations with Israel have not been cut off although demanded by the people of Turkey. Besides Erdogan has not yet declared what he had talked with Olmert a few days before the attacks on Gaza started,
