A weeks ago the second ICOR world conference was realized sucessfully in Europe. From Peru to Rusia, from Tunisia to Spain, from South Africa to Bulgaria, from India to Haiti, delegations of the organizations traveled there in order to critically evaluate the time and joint activities experienced since the foundation conference of ICOR in 2010. All in all 28 delegations from 24 countries as well as two guest delegations participated in the second world conference of ICOR.

The conference was formally oppened by a speech of the ICOR main-coordinator, a minute's silence for the fallen militants of ICOR member organizations. Besides greetings, which sent the conference solidary greetings and whished it much sucess, of ILPS (International League of Peoples Struggle), PCR (Revolutionary Communist Party of Argentinia) and CPA (ML) (Communist Party of Australia [Marxist-Leninist]) were read out .

The accounting of the ICC (International Coordination Comitee) regarding to the passed three years and its discussion constituted the heart of the conference. The delegates reported on the situation of ICOR in their countries and continents and at one go gave an overview of the development of their organizations and the class struglle in their countries. The joint conferences and campaigns of ICOR  (especially the ICOR presentation campaign, the campaign against atomic energy and nuclear weapons and the Rojava solidarity campaign) and the role of the democratic mass movements all over the world were the main discussion topics.

Particularly the solidarity campaign for Rojava was mentioned as a positive example for the practical cooperation of ICOR organizations by the delegates allthough in this as in the other campaigns only a part of ICOR organizations participated. All delegations showed vivid interest in the current situation and the struggle in Rojava.

Generally the missing practical strike power of ICOR was identified as a task, on which must be worked in the upcoming time, as well as on the further development of the mutual communication and information among the member organizations.

On the basis of the reports from different countries and of the organization's activities 15 resolutions were passed. Besides the support of several international conferences and the solidarity with international struggles, a resolution on the political situation in Turkey and the struggle in Rojava was  adopted at initiative of our party.

The resolution on the current situation in Turkey states:

'The forces of the counterrevolution are trying to divide the masses and to destroy and undermine the revolutionary self-confidence of the Turkish people, that  awakened in the June uprising, as well as the revolutionary self-confidence of the Kurdish people, which it has won through 30 years of armed resistance and that has been consolidated by the revolution of Rojava.

The 2nd ICOR World Conference expresses its solidarity with the struggles of the peoples of Turkey and Kurdistan and the fighting revolutionary forces there.'

An the resolution of solidarity with Rojava:

'Last year, comrade Serkan Tosun, a militant of the ICOR member organization MLKP, was killed by armed gangs, like many others, during active defense in Rojava. [...]

The 2nd ICOR World Conference welcomes the regional self-governments in Rojava, which have been proclaimed in Cizîre, Kobanê and Efrin, and also the further steps towards democratic self-government.

The 2nd ICOR World Conference expresses its solidarity with the liberation struggle of the Kurdish people in all parts of Kurdistan and defends the Kurdish people's right of self-determination.'

In order to focus the work even more on the practical cooperation and to shape it in a more effective way in future some changes in the statute of ICOR were approved.

Additionally the composition of the ICC was changes to reach a better representation of the distinct continents. The main-coordinatior, a comrade of MLPD from Germany, and the deputy main-coordinatior, a comrade of CPI  (ML) from India, were reelected nearly unanimously. Moreover the delegates decided to realize a joint campaign on the occasion of the October Revolution's centenary in 2017 as well as a theoretical seminar regarding the relevance of October Revolution to our present work.

A delegate of the new ICOR member organization PPSR WATAD (Patriotic Socialist Revolutionary Party) from Tunisia concluded the meaning of the conference as follows:

'The foundation of ICOR was a right and necessary act to unite the revolutionary forces, to strengthen them and to amplify their fights against world imperialism and reactionary forces. […] I'd like to emphasise the responsibility of everyone of us to develop this organization further, to make its work even more effective, to win more organizations as members and to broaden the mass basis, especially amongst the worker. Without doing so, ICOR cannot become an acting force, which is able to change the social reality basing on exploitation and opression.'

Concludig we have to state that the second world conference was an important step in ICOR's development. In a very solidary and constructive atmosphere strengths and weaknesses of the passed time were evaluated and the next steps to take were planned in great unanimity. It is now a question of realizing this in practice to turn ICOR into a really powerful worldwide coordination of revolutionary parties and organizations.

The collective singing of the Internationale in each delegation's language constituted the solemn close of the conference.
